15-Day Return Policy

Eligibility & General Conditions

STRATHFIELD AUTO SALES PTY. LIMITED offers a 15-day return policy for eligible vehicles and machinery under the following terms:

  • Full Reimbursement: Customers may receive a 100% refund of the purchase price, excluding any non-refundable charges such as administrative, processing, tax, or reconditioning fees.
  • Price Limit: Refunds are capped at 104% of the Hour Meter Wholesale National Average Price on the date of purchase.
  • Eligible Buyers: Applies to individuals and registered Australian dealers purchasing vehicles or machinery located within Australia.

Eligible Vehicles & Machinery

Units must meet the following requirements to qualify for the return program:

  • Condition: Must be free of structural damage.
  • Minimum Purchase Value: The sale price must be at least $1,000 AUD.
  • Weight Requirement: Machinery must have a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 1,000 kg.
  • Eligible Categories: Includes, but is not limited to:
    • Agricultural and construction equipment
    • Commercial and industrial vehicles
    • Off-road units, ATVs, forklifts
    • Medium- and heavy-duty trucks
    • Trailers and transport systems
  • Condition of Sale: Items sold “As Is” remain eligible if all other criteria are met.

Return Terms & Conditions

Return Period & Usage Limits

The 15-day return timeframe begins the day the unit is delivered. A unit becomes ineligible once any of the following limits are exceeded:

  • More than 20 operating hours, or
  • More than 200 kilometres of total use.

Return Process

To begin a return, contact our support team within 15 days of delivery. A representative will confirm eligibility and provide instructions.

Shipping & Inspection

Return Shipping: All return transport is arranged by STRATHFIELD AUTO SALES PTY. LIMITED through authorised carriers. Inspection: Returned units must be in original, unaltered condition and free of damage. Restocking Fees: A restocking or repair fee may apply if the unit shows damage or modifications beyond normal use.

Refund Process

Once the returned unit passes inspection and all terms are met, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable service or restocking fees.

Exclusions

This policy applies only to pre-owned vehicles and machinery. Brand-new, unused, or factory-fresh equipment is not eligible.

Governing Law

This Return Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. All related disputes fall under Australian jurisdiction.
